Proposal as to capital expenditure quite satisfactory. New proposal for recurrent

expenditure will involve in a few years an annual contribution from Hong Kong funds amorbing so some £55,000 (sterling) more than existing cont/Lout i on of $155,000 (Hong Kong). In view of elected proportion of Colonial, Dominion and foreign students I suggest it might be considered whether the United Kingdom ennual contribution with possibly some subvention from the Dominions might be increased on A sliding scale, as work of the Universy expands rising from £30,000 (sterling) in the first year by £2,500 (sterling) a year to maximum of £45,000 (sterling) at end of six years.
